Workshop: Development of creative thinking in VET Steering group meeting follows the workshop.

Ostrava/Czech Republic: 17th – 20th September 2009
Workshop “Identification of best practice”: The workshop aims at identifying promising practice to improve the quality of VET training, to offer additional training, to identify and replace poor practice within the partner organisations, to increase performance from staff. The partners create a standardised list of review questions providing an outline indicating the types of information needed to identify best practice. This list of questions will be sent in advance to the partners. Each partner presents a list of national practice examples (of own and other institutions) how creative thinking is fostered in VET settings. The lead partner presents in addition practice examples of other EU projects in the field. The group identifies the core elements of potential best practice and determines which elements of the practice are proprietary and which are replicable. Then the group goes through the ranking exercise. Steering group meeting follows the workshop.

Meeting “Review of incorporation phase”: Each partner presents the process of incorporation of best practice and evaluates whether the best practice has been successfully/unsuccessfully incorporated (reasons). Exchange of experiences. Steering group meeting follows the meeting.

Palermo/Italy: 3rd – 6th June 2010
European transfer workshop: Discussion and dissemination of best practice examples and materials at European level, workshop with partners and representatives of projects in the field from non-partner countries. Steering group meeting follows the workshop.
